2010 One Forest Film Festival

On November 13, 2010 One Forest Films held its first film festival at Manhattan Theater Source. We want to thank everyone who came in support of this momentous occasion!

Our goal for the festival was to unite talented players in the entertainment industry so that filmmakers could expand their knowledge through a pool of creativity. We wanted to make it clear from the start that this festival was about an expansion of film intellect. Thus we had the featured filmmakers stand in front of the audience and share their wisdom and experiences while others had the opportunity to ask questions. At the end of the night, everyone left the festival with a broader network of industry professionals, as well as a healthy appreciation for independent filmmaking in the NYC area.

Helicopter Ride in VT

On June 19 the One Forest Team went up with Tim Butt 2 Productions in a privately owned helicopter with a Sony EX-1 Camera. The helicopter is owned by Bob and Debbie Burke, who were kind enough to take us up for half an hour, and we couldn't be more grateful to them.

Here are some pictures of the momentous day:

A Word About Fonts

When it comes to the design of the website, Collen and I agreed to design the site with certain fonts in mind. The main font for all the text is PapyrusTM, which is common on many computer platforms, however I have since discovered costs some money to download if your don't have it already installed on your computer. I have, however, discovered one site that allows you to download the font for free. The second font that we use for the headings and titles is a font called UnZialish, which can be downloaded for free here. We suggest that for the best experience on our website that you have these two fonts installed on your computer because it will then allow you to view the site exactly as we intended.

Thank you so much,
Tim Buttner
